The story behind

Founded in 2017, Meraki emerged from a simple yet powerful idea: turn sugarcane bagasse—the fibrous residue of sugarcane juice—into elegant, high-performance bagasse tableware. What began as a small team passionate about sustainability has grown into a 150+ strong family in Kishangarh, Rajasthan, operating a state-of-the-art, solar-powered facility that delivers reliable, large-scale compostable tableware solutions for caterers, restaurants, and institutions.

Our Mission & Vision

At Meraki, we believe that change starts at home — with me, with each decision, with every meal served. Our mission is to inspire businesses and individuals to be the change they wish to see in the world by choosing truly eco-friendly disposable tableware. We envision a future where every plate, bowl, and cup is not just functional but a statement of responsibility, helping protect both food and the earth for generations to come.

Our state-of-the-art plant runs on solar power, minimizing carbon emissions while molding bagasse into leak-proof, temperature-resistant shapes.

Every batch of sugarcane bagasse is traceably sourced from renewable sugarcane farms, giving agricultural byproducts a new life.

Fully compostable under industrial or home conditions, and even usable as cattle fodder in some regions, our products return to the earth without a trace of plastic.
